Thank you for your interest in hosting Chris Staples for a show in your space! This could be a living room, coffee shop, yoga studio, recording studio, after hours retail space, backyard, historic building, or ??? Got a cool space?
I sell my own tickets online, and I’m looking for places that will not charge me a venue fee. I travel with my own sound system, and I run it myself so we got the sound covered. I may need help working the door, checking off names as people arrive. I’ll print a list of guests.
All we need is space for 30-60 people for a few hours. I’ll set up an online ticket for $20. I’ll promote it, and you can promote it to your friends and local scene on socials. I’ll ask that you encourage your friends to buy tickets. I’ll send you some images and other promo to help you spread the word. Your address will be private and only provided to ticket buyers. Typically I show up to your place at 5:30 pm and set up. Doors at 7:00. Show from 8:00 to 9:15 or so.
